Infrastructure Information

Durgapur Government Technical School and College Infrastructure Information:

Durgapur Government Technical School & College is situated on about one and a half acres of land in a pleasant, open and aesthetic environment, 3.1 km south of the heart of Durgapur Upazila, adjacent to Urail Bazar.

Durgapur Government Technical School and College has:

1. A huge four storied administrative building
2. 2 five storied academic buildings
3. A service center for students
3. There are 5 workshops with state-of-the-art heavy equipment for training students.
4. Two Science Labs (Physics and Chemistry)
5. Two multimedia computer labs
6. There is a large playground for students
7. There is a large auditorium and a conference/meeting room for co-curricular activities and cultural events.
8. Durgapur Government Technical School and College has several hygienic washrooms, refreshment rooms and prayer rooms on each floor for the teachers, staff and students.

Infrastructural development:
1. 4 (1500 litres) water tanks have been installed on the roof of the academic building and 2 (1500 litres) on the roof of the administrative building.
2. Each multimedia projector is set up to suit digital classrooms with permanent connectivity.
3. Two state-of-the-art computer labs (air-conditioned) with a total of 30 desktops (computers) are in operation.
4. Internet facility is provided through WiFi.
